Gardener of 69 Castle Street, Canterbury to J.Osborne Morris, esquire of Castle Street, Canterbury concerning an inventory carried out at Greenfield Farm, Herne Bay following a receiving order issued against H.J. Dytham: - I may also mention that the Debtor is not the tenant of the farm, It appears that one Henry Minter is the tenant and that the Debtor without any written Agreement has become his sub-tenant. - After careful enquiries and consideration I came to the conclusion that in view of the above facts that it would be quite impossible to sell the milk round but after much trouble I received an offer of £70 for the effects mentioned above including the book debts.
