Trust Deed: (1) Bedford Literary and Scientific Institute (2) Samuel Whitbread of Southill MP, and other trustees of the Society. (1) are tenants of the Bedford Rooms Company recently dissolved; said premises to be sold for £5,000; to do this the Society became a Company, to raise money for the purchase, with debenture holders; property described in deeds of 1835 as messuage etc on east side of Angel Street.
