Letter from F.J. Coleman of Clifton House, Dunstable Road, Luton… 'I have more or less paid to the persons named in Mrs. Coleman's will. Settling the Bank shares at £92, thus i paid £552 away. I cannot settle as to my will that is the amounts I give to each- the first 6 will be duly paid and I will discuss with you as to paying duty on Flints £4000 all the others Tompkins Tompkins Fowler Fowler Powell must pay their own duty so that I shall have about £8000 away and pay plenty to pay all other charges. I can give you the addresses of all the persons named in the enclosed paper marked x. I presume you will only draw a rough will, unless you use the one now sent you will see that Mr. Tanqueray made some notes and I send it that you may see his remarks I hope to see you on Monday bring up any papers that I asked might be relevant and in reference to my wife'.
