Legacy duty on the said annuity shall be borne out of my personal estate by my eldest son Edmund Salisbury Vaughan Grimshawe. - Sum of £5000 covenanted to be paid to the trustees of the marriage settlement dated 9th Jan 1883 upon the marriage of my only daughter Emily Geraldine Effie & Henry John Conant to be directed as such. - Freehold estate at Goldington, Beds, free from any mortgage or debt which my effect the same unto my wife, if decease, estate to become part of the residue of my real estate. - All residue of real and personal estate (except estates vested in me as trustee or mortgage) unto and to the use of my said wife; my brother in law Sir Salisbury Gillies Payne Baronet of Blunham House, Beds; Henry Robert Vaughan Johnson of Lincoln's Inn, Middlesex, barrister at law & Henry Holden Steward of 9 Second Avenue, Brighton, Sussex, lieutenant colonel in her majesty's army upon certain trusts: firstly, to pay any debts on my estates, secondly, for my said wife during her life, after decease, trustees to sell, invest and call in profits from my estates and pay income to my children as directed by my wife, in default of such direction upon trust to pay income to my second son Arthur Grimsagh Cecil Grimshawe during his life, after decease, to hold for the benefit of his children as he directs, in default of such direction in trust for any children of Arthur who attain age of 21 in equal shares, if no children at the age of 21, upon trust for whoever Arthur directs, in default of such direction upon trust for my eldest son. - £100 to the executors of my will.
