    Copy will of William Collins of Totternhoe, Eaton Bray, Beds, yeoman. I give, devise & bequeath: - My cottage or tenement where I do now dwell with the barn, stable, cowhouse, buildings and yard now standing on the SW; also my close or pightle of pasture ground containing ½ acres lying on the backside and adjoining the said cottage, the ground of [?] Athwell now in the occupation of George Herbert on the S, meadow ground called beaks mead on the W and the ground of Robert Iremonger on the N; also that little bit of ground lying on the E end of the said cottage; also that slip or piece of ground lying and being on the N side of the said cottage and coming in at the little gateway there from Totternhoe Street and so going along by the said cottage into the aforesaid close of pasture ground (except an easement to draw and take water from a well belonging to the cottage in favour of Mary King my daughter now wife of Thomas King of Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire, husbandman) unto Richard Holt my son in law of Totternhoe, labourer and Abigail my daughter, now wife of said Richard, for their natural lives and after unto Richard & John Holt my grandsons (children of said Richard & Abigail) equally. - My barn being three bays of building and the ground where the barn stands at Totternhoe; Totternhoe Street lying on the E thereof; also my hovel at the N end of the said barn; also my garden and orchard at the backend and adjoining the said barn and also my close or pightle of pasture ground of ½ acre lying on the N of the said garden and orchard; Totternhoe Street lying on the E, Beaks Lane on the N and the ground of Robert Iremonger lying on the W unto my daughter Mary King. - All arable land lying in the common fields of Totternhoe and Eaton Bray (not already bequeathed) unto my son William Collins provided that he pays all mortgage debts from the said land. - £5 unto Martha Collins my granddaughter and daughter of the said Abigail Holt when she attains age of 21. - £5 to daughter Mary King. - All household goods, furniture etc. at my house in Totternhoe to be divided amongst my daughters Abigail Holt & Mary King. - Residue of all personal estate to son William Collins. - My son William Collins appointed sole executor. - Witnessed by Bartholomew Paxton, Thomas Mar[?] and another [paper ripped at this part].
