Statement of Isaac Bradshaw, Farmer of Monks Hardwick, St Neots. Mr Bradshaw hired William Milton and William Barford since he hired Caldecote Farm (last Michaelmas). He had found them steady and well conducted youths. They had not been much used to the road. He felt the incident was more by ignorance than anything that they were riding without reins.
