    Occurrence Report of Eli Bayes, Police Constable stationed at Biggleswade. At 8.30pm he was on duty in the High Street, Biggleswade when he saw George Cherry, Labourer of Biggleswade, drunk in the street and using disgusting language. Mr Elesworth and others complained. The PC asked Cherry to go home but he refused saying he wanted another beer. Cherry went into the Bushel and Srikes and called for a pint of beer. The landlord Strickland refused because he was drunk. The PC told him he would be locked up if he didn't go home. He was taken hom by an man named Millard. Fined 18/-
