Information of Alfred Charles Morris, son of Memma Mary and John Morris of Sandy. Alfred and his mother had been to Beeston and were returning along the river side. As they came to the 'locks' they some men bathing. They asjed his mother if 'she would like a bit of that' at the same time pulling up their shirts and exposing themselves W Bagnell and J Truin were standing together. Bagnell jumped into the water while Truin took off his shirt. Pyant said 'let her see it again Bagnell'. Mother and son then climbed over the style when one of them called out ' I'll tell your husband'. William Haynes witnessed it and laughed.
