    Information of Ann Wells, wife of John Wells of Biggleswade.She was in Benjamin Britten's House and heard Mary Newman calling her foul language. She went to her house and Mary Newman struck her with a chopper on her head and dragged her into the house. Thomas Newman, husband of Mary was there too and struck Ann Wells with his fist. Someone called that John Wells was coming and Ann Wells was released and went home. Settled out of court.
