Deposition of Charles Prior against William Dennis of Mill Lane, Potton. The house had 1 living room and 2 bedrooms with ceilings 5ft high. Living there were Mr Dennis, his wife, his sons and his sons children, his daughters, and a child of one of his daughters. Total cubical contents would not be 1000 cubic feet. Case dismissed on payment of 5/6 as Mr Dennis had moved into two adjacent cottages when checked by D Miller, Sanitary Inspector.
