- TitleAlys Byllington of Leghton Bosard made 1 Apr.1549. No note of probate. Burial in churchyard of Leghton. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d.. To William, Robert, Em and Alys Byllington, the children of Robert Byllington, 25s. each, and each of them is to have part of the money that was left in the hands of testator's son Robert Byllington, which is now in the hands of Jeffray Cooke, and to each of them "and every on of them shepe". To Ame Honor, their mother, a cow. To Thomas Honor's children a sheep each. To Thomas Hartewell a cow and 6 sheep. To every godchild 4d.. Testator wishes that 30s. be expended at her burial for her soul and for the souls of all her good friends, and 20s. to be spent at her month's day. Residue to son-in-law Robert Hartewell to dispose of as he thinks best, and he is to be executor, and her overseers are sir Thomas Pekering, Richard Sle' and Edmund [?]Bame, each to have 12d. for their work, and they are witnesses with many others.
