Burial in the churchyard of Leghton. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d.. To daughter Margret 5 quarters of barley, 4 bushel of wheat, 4 bushel of beans, a cow and a weaning calf, 10 couple of sheep, 5 hogs though not the wool. To John Holand a lamb. To Margret Hawkinges a lamb. To sir Thomas Pekering a lamb. To every godchild 4d.. To his brother William his best coat. To his son John all his carts and ploughs, and their gear, 3 horses, 2 plough oxen, 2 steers. John and his mother to divide all the crop in the field and all the sheep between them, and wife Elzabeth to keep son Thomas during her lifetime, and should she die, then John to keep him, and if John should die, then Margret to keep him, or cause him to be kept by someone else. To wife Elzabeth the residue of his goods both indoors and outdoors, and she is to have every year one acre of barley (next to the best), a land of rye, a land of beans, and 4 loads of wood, and John is to plough, till and carry them home. Executors wife Elezabeth and son John, with William Holand to be oversear, and he to have for his work testator's best sheep. Witnesses sir Thomas Pekeringe, William Bosses, Thomas Fuller.
