    Alys Tooyerold/Tooyereold made 1544, pr. 20 Oct. 1545. Burial in the churchyard of Leighton Bosard. To mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To the high altar 4d,, To daughters Alys and [?]Audryan, to each of them, 10 pair of sheets, a featherbed, a mattress, 2 bolsters, 4 pillows and pillowberes, 2 coverlets, a pair of blankets, a linen wheel, a woollen wheel. Testator's brass and pewter is to be divided between them. Each is to have 2 coffers "and all my paynted clothes and a cubburd and a salting trought"; and 2 bedsteads, 2 table cloths and 2 towels each. Also all testator's tubs both great and small to be divided between them, and each to have a banker. Each to have a table and a form, and also 4 sheep. To daughter Alys a heifer; to daughter Audrye testator's brown cow. To her son Thomas Corbe the dun cow and her plough and plough gear, and her cart and harness. To John Elyat her calf and to Johne [Johanne] her best gown. To daughter Alys her next best gown and her best beads. To daughter Audry an other gown and her best girdle. To Elzabeth Gurney her best cap and a hat. Should her daughter Alys die without issue, then her legacies to go to daughter Audryan, and each to be the other's heir. Should they both die under 14 years of age, then half the goods to be sold to hire a priest to sing for testator and her friends, and the other half to be used at the will and pleasure of her executors. She wishes to have a priest sing for her and her friends for a quarter of a year for 26s. 8d. in the church of Leighton Bosard. Residue between daughters Alys and Audryan. Executors Richard Gurney and John Elyot, each to have 20s.. Overseers Thomas Champion and testator's son Thomas Corbe, each to have 3s. 4d.. To John Elyat a sheep, and to son Thomas Corbe a quarter of barley and a quarter of beans.
