    William Boneyon made 4 Dec. 1537, no note of probate. Burial in the churchyard of Stambrege. To the high altar in Stambrege church 12d.. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To Stambrege church 6s. 8d.. To the maintenance of the torches in the same church half a quarter of barley. To sir Robert Sterke a year's service. To sir Robert Tomlyngson 10s. to sing a trental of masses for souls of testator and all Christians. To all the lights in the same church 2 pound of wax. To the town of Stambrege 2 kine which the churchwardens are to hire out to two poor men in Stambrege, and the men are to pay each year 16d. of rent each, which money is to be bestowed every Good Friday in bread given to the parishioners of Stanbrege by the churchwardens , and those who hire the kine are to fetch the bread to the church. To Jone Dicson a russet gown and 6s. 8d. in money. To the town of Stambrege 12 ["podingers"] porringers and 2 candlesticks. There is to be a dirige kept in Stambrege church for the souls of testator and all Christians for the next 20 years, "and I will that the said obbyt be kepte with a parsell of mede lyinge in Weste landdole" and after the 20 years then the mead is to return to the land that Margret Terle bought of testator, and that Thomas Wover [?Woner] is to hire the mead for the 20 years at 3s. 4d. a year. To Alys Fawconer the house where testator now lives for 5 years after his death, or else 25s. in money "wiche she will wiche mony ys payd to William Cowke of Milton by my lyffe". To Jone his maid, "so that she be good and delygent to me" a pot, a pan and basin, and a pair of sheets, and if she is not good to testator, then someone else to have the bequest. To every godchild 4d.. To William Draper a russet coat. To John Sparkes the best violet coat. To William Warne a coat, a pair of hose and a doublet. Residue to Hugh Gresseley and John Barton to dispose of for the health of testator's soul, and they to be executors and each to have 6s. 8d. for their work, and Henry Draper to be overseer, and he to have 6s. 8d. also. Witnesses sir Robert Tomlynson curate, and Alys Fawconer, with others.
