    John Heydon/Hyedon of Leighton Bosard made [blank] day of [blank] month 1537, no note of probate. Burial in church yard of Leighton. To mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to high altar for tithes forgotten 6s. 8d.; to the Brotherhed of Corpus Christi 3s. 4d.. To an honest priest 10s. to sing a trental of masses in Leighton church for souls of testator and all Christians. To his brother Nicholas all his raiment, and Nicholas is to receive of Thomas Allen, roper, £4 6s. 8d. that testator lent him in gold and silver. Testator's brother Bernerd Collinge owes 6s. 8d., which testator forgives him, as he forgives Richard Colling a debt of 8s.. He forgives Robert Scrogges a debt of 6s. 8d., and Taler of Bragmam 2s. 4d., "My ant' Studdes owght me iij s. iiij d. I do forgeve the halfe and the other halfe to be geven to Sulbery churche". William Sebrocke owes 6s. 8d. which he is to pay to his daughter Agnes. Master Jonson owes testator 2s. 8d. for threshing rye, and Thomas Pytman owes 2s. 8d. and testator remits half of each debt. Henry Topeinge owes 10s., and testator remits half. "My dame Haxhed owght me for iiij quarters of malte xvj.s. I do forgeve yt hir" and his master Symon Haxhed owes testator for 2 years wages 53s. 4d., of which testator wills that he pays 20s.of this sum to Sulbery church, and use 20s. to mend Gygge Layne. Executor his master Symon Haxehed, and he to use his goods for the health of testator's soul. Overseer to be William Scrogges, and to have the 6s. 8d. which he owes to testator. Witnesses sir Robert Tomlynson his ghostly father, William Welche clerk, William Scrogges, Elzabeth Holte widow, Thomas Parkeingson and his wife.
