    Letter from Henry Watson "To answer Mr.Gardner of Biggleswade relative & previous to his being appointed by Licence to Teach School there" "I have received your letter of the 17th Inst. In answer please to observe what follows. That in case the School be only a private one of your own establishment you have nothing more to do but to produce a certificate under the hands of as many of the Inhabitants of Biggleswade as may be in your favor [sic], setting for their Approbation and Request that you may be Licenced[sic] by the Authority of the Prebendary of the Peculiar Jurisdiction To teach Instruct the Youth of that Parish in the Accomplishments of Reading Writing and Accounts"… "PS In case the School intended to be Established should be supported by any Charity or Donation it may then be necessary for the Feoffees, Trustees &c. to sign your Testimonial in preference to all others and the more Hands you can get to your Recommendation the better it will be PS Please to present my honourable Respects to Mr.Gibson who I hope is as well in Health as Age can permit"
