    "Furst I bequeth my soul to God Allmeghtie" and burial in the churchyard of Cadington. To son Andro Bray £6 13s. 4d.; to son John £6 13s. 4d.; to daughter Alys £6 13s. 4d.; to son Raffe £6 13s. 4d.; to daughter Elezabeth £6 13s. 4d.. To Margery and Elezebeth Bray, the daughters of testator's son Thomas, a ewe each. To every godchild 4d. To the poor men's box of Cadington 3s. 4d.. To the repair of the lane between Chawlle Ende and Cadington Grene 6s. 8d.. Testator's house at Woodsyde called Carpenters to be sold by his executors and overseers together with all the lands lying to the same house both freehold and copyhold, and the money used to pay his bequests. The residue to the money to wife Margery, with all moveable goods and cattle, and all the wheat which is already sown. His wife and his son Thomas to divide the rest of his crop between them. To son Thomas 5 quarters of barley that is now in testator's house. Testator has already given a surrender of the copyhold of the same house into the hands of old Thomas Braye of the Wood Syde. Executors to be sons Thomas and Andrew Bray, and his overseers to be sir Richard Martendale and Thomas Pett. Witnesses Thomas Bray the elder, Andrewe Bray.
