    Testament "Furst I bequeth my Soull to Allmeghtie God to his blessed mother our lady sanct Mary And to All the holy compeny in heven" and burial in churchyard of Our Blessed Lady in Husburne Crowley. For his mortuary as is customary; to the high altar for tithe forgotten 4d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To his wife Betres Wright 2 kine, 2 horses, 12 sheep, a brown ox, and half of the household stuff, and the other half of the household stuff is to be divided among his children, his son Richard to have the first choice. To son John Wright an acre of corn "or elles 8s. Redy". A ewe sheep and a lamb to each to the following: his son John Wright, his son Richard Wright, his daughter Agnes Kynsey, his daughter Esabell, his daughter Johne , his daughter Alys Wright, and his youngest daughter Ellen Wright. To John Kynsey the son of testator's daughter Agnes Kynsey a ewe lamb. Residue to wife Betris Wright and son Richard Wright who are executors. Witnesses Thomas Carter of Husband Crawley, John Sharp of the same, Thomas Morys and Thomas Adam, John Jenkinges. Will concerning his lands and tenements in Husburn Crawle. His son Richard Wright is to have all the lands and tenements to hold to him and his assigns as fee simple for ever of the chief lord of the fee by service due. Wife Betris is to dwell with Richard and to occupy half of the premises during her life if she remain unmarried. Should she remarry she is to leave the premises and take such goods as are her own. Should Richard die without issue then the property to go to his eldest brother John Wright so that the premises may continue in the name of Wright otherwise called Abary. Should Richard need to sell, then son John Wright to have the preferment of the bargain and sale before any other person by the sum of 20s. sterling Testator's daughter Isabell to be kept honestly as long as she lives.
