"I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God to the blessed virgen sanct Mary and to all the holy and blessed compeny in Heven" and burial in the churchyard of Luton. To the Lord's Table for tithes forgotten 12d.; to the needs and repairs of parish church 4d.; to the poor man's box in the same church 3d.. To wife Alys testator's house where he dwells with the appurtenances, with which she can do what she wishes, whether give or sell. Residue to wife who is sole executrix. Witnesses John Jonson curate, Henry Gyfford, Edward Leper, Thomas Clarke, Robert Adowne.
