    "Furst I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God my maker to our lady and to all the holy compeny in heven" and burial in St. Ellene's chapel in the church yard of Elnestow by his wife Elezabeth. For his principal 10s.; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the high altar 12d.; to the bells 2s.; 20s. to be given to the poor households in the town of Elnestowe; 20 dozen of bread is to be given to strangers and to others in the town. To every godchild 12d. To William Wauton the house testator bought of William Cooke and the land belonging to it for his lifetime, reversion to testator's heir. To John Wauton the land testator's brother Thomas Wauton gave him in Eton Soken which is 23s. 6d. a year. "Also I geve to John Wauton John every one of them ij sylver spones with the spones that Elezabeth Judde dydde geve them" To William Wauton and John to each of them 20 ewes and 20 lambs besides the sheep they already have. William Wauton to have £10 sterling to buy him a horse, saddle and bridle with other apparel mete for a gentleman's service. Also to William Wauton a featherbed, a bolster and 2 down pillows, one coverlet, 2 blankets, and 2 pair of flaxen sheets. To George Wauton and his heirs all the residue of testator's lands, tenements, leases, indenture, copyholdings, goods, chattels, not otherwise bequeathed, and he to enter into testator's house as testator leaves it. George to receive all debts owing testator as is set forth in his book, and to pay testator's debts which are also specified in the same book. Executors son George Wauton and William Heys, the latter to have 6s. 8d. for his work, with Master Edmund Harvy esquire as overseer. Witnesses sir Henry of Bedenham, William who is Master Bruton's [?apothecary], William Heys, John Wauton, William Wauton.
