    "Furste I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God to be [?]partaker of his fruition emong the holy compeny in heven" and burial in churchyard of Flitton. To wife Jone his house and lands in Flitton for her life, then to son William and his issue, and should William die without issue then the property to be sold and the money divided between all his other children. To eldest son John Childe 40s.; to son Nicholas 40s., and another 40s. on the day of his marriage and 2 quarters of barley. To son William 40s. and 2 quarters of barley. To his youngest son John Childe 40s., 2 quarters of barley, the dun ambling horse and a cow bullock. To son-in-law William Bruer' 12 bushels of wheat part to be paid in one year and part in another. To daughter Agnes a cow bullock. To daughter Fayth 3 of the best theaves. To Thomas Bruar the son of William Bruar a cow, a bullock and a quarter of malt. To Jone Childe the daughter of testator's eldest son John Childe a cow bullock. To every son a ewe and a lamb, the best they choose. To servant Thomas Mylward a cow and 20s. in money on his marriage day. To Elezabeth Nayler a cow and a cow bullock, and on the day of her marriage 20s. To mending the highway where most need is at discretion of his executrix 10s.. All legacies to be given at the times his wife who is executrix thinks best. Residue to wife Jone, his lawful executrix, with Edward Danyell overseer, to whom 6s. 8d.. Witnesses Edward Daniell, sir John Palmer priest, Nicholas Swane, smith.
