- Scope and Content"besecheing [God] of his mercy that [her will] may be confyrmable to his will that is to say Furst I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God my creator and Redemer" and her body to be buried in Blownham churchyard near the grave of Thomas Blyth her late husband. To the poor men's box 8d.; to the bells 12d.. To her daughter Alys Ryseley one heifer ["eckforth"], four ewes, 2 quarter of barley, a mattress, a carpet coverlet, a little coffer with all the linen within it, all to be given to Alis Reysley by testator's son Thomas Blith whenever Alis "shall go away Frome" the said Thomas Blith. To son Thomas Blyth all corn, cattle and houshold stuff and the residue of goods and he to be executor with Thomas Fyssher supervisor, to whom 20d.. Witnesses Roger Aldrige, Thomas Fyssher, Thomas Gray, Richard Angell.
