    Testament "I bequeth my Soull to God Allmeghtie for to be in the Compeny of heven" and his body for burial in churchyard of Bedenham. For his mortuary as is right. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar of Bedenham for tithes forgotten 12d.; to the repairs of Bedenham church 20d.; to the poor man's box 12d.. To each of his daughters 20s. to be paid within 2 or 3 years. To Agnes Anstye a quarter of barley and to John Anstie a year old cow bullock. To Richard Faldo a year old cow bullock. Residue of his goods to wife Agnes Allen and to son Robert Allen on condition that Robert occupies testator's husbandry together with his wife, but if wife marry again, then his goods to be divided equally between them. Executors wife Agnes and son Robert, with William Allen of Bedenham to be supervisor, to whom 20d. Will All his lands in Kempston to wife Agnes Allen for the term of her life, then to son Robert Allen and his heirs. Witnesses William Butler esquire, sir Richard Wright vicar of Bedenham, Richard Samson.
