    "Furst I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God our lady sanct Mary and to all the holy Compeny of heven" and burial in churchyard of Barton. To the high altar of Barton 20d. for tithes forgotten. To son James testator's copyhold house after death of testator and his wife. To son John the copyhold house that James lives in and the Bury Dole, and he is to give to testator's son Antony £10. To son Mathewe the copyhold house where Thomas Rudde dwells after death of testator's wife, and should Mathewe die without issue, then Antony to have his house. To testator's wife the lease of his close in the parish of Hegham. Residue to wife, whom he makes his executrix, with Bartholomewe Fyller as overseer "they to dysspose to the plesur of God and the helth of my soull". Witnesses Richard Laundys, William Robynson.
