To the high altar of Ampthill for tithes forgotten 3s. 4d.. To goddaughter Cysley Button 3s. 4d.. To Richard Lefrane the son of Peter Carver testator's godson 8d.. To goddaughter Cysley Medelton 20d., to Robert Moreton the son of Raffe Moreton testator's godson 12d.. To brother-in-law Richard Payne an old angel in gold. To his other brother-in-law William Payne his best orange tawny coat. To the mending of the highway in Haysellwod Layne 3s. 4d.. Residue to wife Ann Burdewe, and she to be executrix, with Hugh Pavy of Ampthill supervisor, he to have testator's doublet of green silk with "springes" of gold, and 3s. 4d.. Witnesses sir Richard Dawnes clerk and parson of Ampthill, William Nicolles and Regenald Tomson both of Ampthill.
