    He bequeaths soul to Almighty God, and burial in the parish churchyard of Dunstable. To the poor men's box 6d.; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d.. To wife Jone 40s. and meat and drink and a chamber during her lifetime, and if she does not wish for this, she is to have every year a quarter of malt for 4 years, and to have the best cow, and all the household stuff she brought with her. To his daughter Agnes 10 quarters of malt, a mattress, a coverlet and a bolster with a bedstead, and 4 pair of sheets, 4 platters, 3 candlesticks. To daughter Alys 10 quarters of malt, 4 platters, 3 candlesticks and a latten basin, a mattress, a bolster, 2 coverlets and 4 pair of sheets with a bedstead. The residue to son John who is to be executor, with James Tydye overseer, the latter to have 3s. 4d.. Witnesses Umfray Plimpton priest, Richard Bryan.
