    "I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God and to our blessed lady sanct Mary and to all the sanctes of heven". Her burial in Kempston church "as nygh my good husband as mey be". To the church for tithes forgotten 20d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the mending of the highway in the Este Ende 6s. 8d.. To every godchild 4d.. To Asten Hiche and to his brother Thomas Hiche a couple of oxen between them. To Alys Hiche and Cristian, daughters of her son John, to each a one year old bullock. To Elzabeth Heche a harden tablecloth and a harden sheet.To Dorathe, Agnes, Alys and Cristian the children of John Hiche a harden sheet each. To Agnes Mawcat a pair of sheets, a coverlet, a mattrass and a bolster. To Richard Hiche son of Roger Hiche testator's two cottages standing and adjoining together by the "stoxes" [stocks] in the Estende of Kemston, to hold to Richard and the heirs of his body for ever, and in default of such issue then the two cottages to go to Roger Hiche, his father, and to his heirs for ever, "as it appere in a dede of state". To John the son of Roger Hiche 2 beasts. To William and to Richard Hiche, sons of Roger Hiche, a cow each. Residue to son Roger, who with John Bulmer are executors, with sir John Dewe, vicar of Kempston, supervisor. Witnesses John Cowper, William Crowlye, John Savage, John Newold.
