    Soul to God, our lady and the holy company of heaven, and burial in the churchyard of Hockeley. One black heifer to daughter Julyan, which her mother must bring up for the space of 2 years. To son William a brown heifer. To son Nicholas one "hawked" steer. To son Thomas one "bulching" yearling. To son William a ewe. To Nicholas, Thomas and Julyan his children to each a lamb. A lamb to servant Joane Pying'. Residue to wife Alys Parker, executrix. Overseers Stephen Grome and William Hebbes yeomen. Witnesses Hugh Hogeson parson of Badlysden, Stephen Grome, William Hebbes.
