    "I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God and to our lady and all the compeny of heven" and burial in the churchyard of Over Gravenhurste. To Thomas Carington, the son of George Caryngton, and to Thomas' heirs, a messuage with a house in Over Gravenhurste between the ground of Thomas ?Loson held of the tenure of Sir Henry Gray knight on the one side, bounding on a croft of John Mylward on the west side, abutting north on Thomas Whybred and abutting south on the high way from Wreste to Shitlington. Also to the same Thomas Caryngton an acre of land belonging to the aforesaid house lying in the fields of Overgravenhurste abutting against the aforesaid house, but with the highway between them. The properties are to remain in the hands of George Caryngton (his father) until Thomas come to the age of 15 years, and then Thomas to enter into the property. Should Thomas die without leaving heirs male, then the property to go to George Carington, his father, and his heirs male, and should George then die without heirs male, the property to go to the heir male of the daughters of William Caryngton. To William Willcockes and Elzabeth his wife and their heirs 4 acres of land in the town or fields of Overgravenhurst, and they shall pay to Thomas Caryngton the son of George Caryngton 4 marks when he comes to 18 years of age, as appears in a deed already made. To son George Caryngton 10 quarters of barley and 10s.to be paid 4 years after testator's death. Executors William Willcockes and Elzabeth his wife, to whom he leaves all his goods to pay debts. To every poor householder in Overgravenhurste and Nethergravenhurste 2d.. Witnesses sir George Grunger parson of Higham Gubyon, Robert Barbor, John Nayler. Supervisor to be Thomas Troghton.
