    "Calling to Remembrance the transitory and uncerten lyffe of this world forsake all meserable leveing submytting my selfe only to the great powr and marcy of Almeghtie God trusting verely by the vertu of his blessed passion to be saved" and bequeathing his soul to Almighty God, the blessed lady Saint Mary and all the holy company in heaven. For his mortuary as the law wills. To son William Bonefild the house where testator lives and eight and a half acres of arable land lying in the fields of Staplow, one grey horse, a cart, a plough and a share, a coulter, a plough "eyre" [?harrow] and a [?]hook, 3 quarters of seed barley, a great chest in the hall, a kymnel, a tub, and all the hallinges in the hall. To son William also testator's lease of Blundelles that he has of Anthony Furthoo gentleman. To son Thomas Bonefild £10 sterling to be paid by son William Bonefild out of the house and lands left to William, the money to be paid over the next 15 years, that is to say 13s. 4d. a year in two payments, that is each feast of St. Martin the bishop 6s. 8d. and the same amount at each feast of St.Elene. To Thomas also a black horse and a quarter of seed barley. To his sons Robert and Edward Bonefild all testator's arable land with a toft in the town and fields of Milton Harnes jointly together, not to be sold, but to descend to the heirs of one of them. To son Edward a messuage in Staplowe next to a messuage of Water Gray on the west part, and a toft of John Kepes on the east, abutting south on the king's highway. Also three half acres of arable land in the fields of Devellowe and Gallowe Dell. To daughter Alys half a garnish of pewter, a basin, a candlestick, a brass kettle, a cupboard, a pewter pot, five ["bease"] beasts and a bullock young and old, 2 coffers, a great cauldron, a quarter of wheat and a quarter of barley, a forcer, 2 cushions, a banker and a pail. To daughter Agnes 2 beasts and a bullock, a dozen pieces of pewter and one other, a caldron, a coffer, a forcer, a quarter of wheat, a quarter of barley. To daughter Parnell 2 beasts, a bullock, a dozen pieces of pewter "one and other" a caldron, a coffer, a forcer, a quarter of what and a quarter of barley. To daughter Mary Myles a two year old bullock, a cow of the middle sort. To his daughters Agnes, Agnes and Parnell all testator's flax and hemp being of this year and last year's growth and all his linen to be divided among them. Son William Bonefild and Jamys Barcocke to be his executors. Residue of his goods to be divided among his children by his executors. Supervisor to be Thomas Bonefild the younger of Devellhoo and he and James Barcocke to have 3s. 4d. each for their work.
