    Soul to God, our lady St. Mary and the saints in heaven, burial in the churchyard of Saint James in Pulloxhill. To the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the high altar of St. James in Pulloxhill for tithes forgotten 2s.; to the upkeep of Pulloxhill church 2s.. To his four daughters Fayth, Mary, Custans and Agnes 40s. each when they come to lawful age, and the share of any daughter dying before they get their bequest to go to testator's wife Jone. To John Goocheppe 10s.; to John Goodchepe 6s. 8d.; to Nicholas Goodchepe 10s. and a three year old bullock. To his son John Man a couple of oxen, 2 horses next unto the best and 2 store bullocks of the last year, also a sow, 2 shotts, an honest featherbed with all that belongs to it to be chosen by testator's wife, also a shod cart, a plough and plough gear, 2 milch beasts. To son John also testator's farm called Kecheing Ferme for the remainder of the term of years. To wife Jone/Johanne the house where he lives and all appurtenances, with his copies (copyholdings) and leases, to her for life while she remains unmarried. Should she remarry then these to go to son John, otherwise John has them on her death to hold to him and his heirs. Should son John die without heirs of his body, then property to go to his daughters then living, to be divided between them. From this time forward whoever has the house where testator now lives shall for 40 years keep an obit of 10s. a year in Pulloxhill church for the souls of the testator, sir Randall Woodes, and all Christians. Testator's house where Andro Turpeing lives and the close at Worthe End are to be sold to pay debts. The land which be bought of his brother Robert Child to be sold to help pay debts if need requires. Should wife remarry, then before the day of her marriage all testator's moveable goods and the house where Turpen lives and the close at Worthend which are to be sold and the goods and the sum arising from the sale (after debts have been paid) are to be divided into three parts, and wife Jone to choose one part, son John to choose the second part (he paying out of the same to his three sisters Margret Caton, Jone Jonson and Agnes Cobbe 10s. each), and the third part to be divided between the four youngest daughters Fayth, Mary, Custans and Agnes. Residue to wife Jone to bring up his children and use for souls. Wife to be executrix and son John executor and the overseer (Raffe Pettes of Chalgrave deleted) John Hall of Caynoo, to whom 6s. 8d..
