Scope and Content
Burial in churchyard of Allhallowes in Regemont. To the church of Segnoo his best towel and a kerchief. To a priest for half a trental to be said in Segnoo church [no amount stated].
To son William a cupboard, a table, a form, a spit, a pair of cobirons, 2 platters, a saucer, a coffer, a chafing dish, and a bell candlestick. To son Nicholas a cow, his great pan, a table, 2 platters and a saucer. To daughter Jone the brindled cow, 2 platters and a saucer. To daughter Elene a cow, 2 platters and a saucer. To daughter Elzabeth a milch cow. To brother in law John Carter an acre of beans, and he to be executor, and "he for to have the kepeing and gardeing of my Childerne and the occupying of my goodes unto my Childern' cum to the yeres of Discretion and then every child to have his parte". Should any child die, the others to be heir, and if they all die, then their goods to be sold and "done for them that yt come off". William Tylkoke and William Gervis to be overseers.
