    Burial in churchyard of Fernediche. To mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d.; to the bells 12d.. To son Richard 3 acres of wheat and 2 acres of barley (one in the Hight Fylde another in the Brache fild). To son Richard also a red cow, a ewe and a lamb, an acre of pease, a horse foal, the hog that testator gelded last. To son Christopher his best shod cart. To daughter Jane a half acre of wheat and a half acre of barley, the brown heifer and a store hog. "Item to the forsaid John' " (presumably Jane) a pot and a ewe. To wife Alys all household stuff. Wife Alys and son Christopher are to occupy testator's farm together, and Christopher to have half the crop, half the beasts, half the sheep and half his team. To wife Alys his bare cart. Should wife Alys remarry before Cristopher, then she to have half testator's crop, his beasts, his sheep and his team, and the like for Cristopher. Wife and sons Cristopher and Richard to pay debts. Residue to wife, executrix and son Richard executor. Witnesses sir William Lordisman, parson, Nicholas Even, Roger Wyseman, Richard Hows.
