Probate copy will of Joseph Circuit of Woburn, yeoman: "being weak in body": - bequeathing his silver tankard marked R.C. to his son Richard; - bequeathing residue of his personal estate to his brother in law John Farey of London, joiner and "worthy friend" John Adams of Woburn, yeoman upon trust to realise the value to pay debts etc. the surplus to be divided between his three son Richard, John and Tom as they directed; - bequeathing all real estate in Woburn to John Farey and John Adams in trust for sale and payment to his three sons equally when they became 21, meanwhile to be invested for their education and maintenance; - John Farey and John Adams to be executors and guardians for the three sons; - witnessed by: Edmund Green; George Bosworth; John Rotherham, clerk to Ambrose Reddall; - probate in Archdeaconry of Bedford on 30 Dec 1758 attached.
