Conveyance 1) Samuel Eden and John Austin, overseers of the poor of Thurleigh 2) Lawrence Gell of Thurleigh, yeoman, Ann his wife and Thomas Gell their son. recites Vestry meeting of 13 February last where sold by public auction to £13 - messuage divided into two houses late in the occupation of William Elsom the elder and William Elsom the younger with appurtenances 1) to 2) to the use of Lawrence Gell and Ann his wife for the term of their natural lives and life of the longer liver of them and immediately after the decease of the survivor to the use of Thomas Gell. Signed by Lawrence Gell's mark, Ann Gell and Thomas Gell. Endorsed with receipt for £13 and memorandum of possession. Witnesses: Robert La Rogue, Edmund Ward, Henry Smith and Richard Ward.
