    Bound Register with information as follows: article purchased and date; fee for delivery; name and address of inspector/purchaser; name and address of vendor; date of delivery to analyst; result of analysis; date of complaint; date of hearing; names of justices; decision of justices; expenses. 1874-1894 The middle portion of the register is a series of detailed notes of items stolen and persons wanted on warrant both in Bedfordshire and the surrounding area. No indication of the police station or magistrate's court responsible for making the entries. 1921-1922 The rear portion of the register is a list of telephone calls made giving time, name and location of recipient; no evidence as to whom the callers were. 1923+ Upside down at the rear are three entries for a Daily Occurrence Book at a police station, presumably in Luton. 1922+ Note: it is not clear why this register was included in PSL as it is the record of Inspector George James of Ampthill and refers to purchases in the Mid Beds area
