Reciting: - Will of John Warner Adams dated 8th Jan 1903 whereby all his real estate was devised to his son John James Reynal Adams subject to the payment of £-/14/- a week to his daughter (iii) and £-/5/- to his housekeeper (ii). J.J.R. Adams was also appointed executor. - J.W. Adams died on the 13th Mar 1903 and his will was proved in the Northampton District Probate Registry on the 9th Jul 1903. - Will of J.J.R. Adams dated 16th Apr 1909 and codicil whereby (i) were appointed executors. - J.J.R. Adams died on the 30th Jun 1909. Operative: - In consideration of £170 (i) conveys (a) to (iv). Property: (See attached plan) (a) Piece or parcel of land situate in Hockliffe, Beds having a frontage to Watling Street. Bounded on the NW by thatched cottages and premises which form part of the Square; SE by cottage and premises and on the SW by a brook. Habendum: - Unto and to the use of (iv) discharged from the two annuities (ii) & (iii) were entitled to. - Draft signed by Frederic Tanqueray of Woburn, solicitor for (i). - Intended to be witnessed and signed by Charles Woods & Ernest Herbert, clerks to Mr. F.T. Tanqueray and Sarah Ridge, wife of George Ridge of 24 Cardiff Road, Luton.
