- TitleLetter from Bennings & Son of Town Clerks Office, Dunstable, solicitors to F. Tanqueray of Woburn, solicitor… 'We have submitted the terms agreed upon on Tuesday last to Mr. Forder and with regard to the reasons for which you requested the royalty to be imposed. He states that in another of his works under the Earl of Carnarvon where more complicated reversions exist the matter is met by the payments of so much for every additional kiln erected after the number originally agreed upon. And having regard to the Blows Downs Works he is willing to pay £190 rent for not exceeding 10 kilns and £10 for every additional kiln afterwards. This arrangement in lieu of the 1st two items of the agreed notes the others to remain the same. Mr. Forder informs us that the above arrangement is that which at present consists at the Sewell Works, Sundon Works and also at Burghclere'.
