Letter from Fiona Elliman of Dinas Powys [Glamorgan] to M.Wooldridge of Bedfordshire Family History Society [forwarded to Andrew Underwood]: - the family had been traced back to a Francis and Ann White, farmers at Westoning Wood End and she had found a Francis about 1723, son of Thomas and Grace of Westoning; - she believed William Gardner was a blacksmith at Leighton Buzzard 1769-1796; - John Welch was a farmer at Battlesden; - Higgins family were brickmakers, Joseph Higgins married Sarah Chapman in 1773 and became a Baptist at Husborne Crawley in 1827; - Joseph White born c.1793 in Ampthill married Sarah Wansbury on 22 Sep 1819 at Lidlington; - asking for help
