- her mother helped out the Pollard family after the closure of the cinema [the Electric Kinema see AU10/49/21];
- Douglas Wolveridge was lay reader at Millbrook and visited her brother at Ampthill when he had a serious accident delivering a message for the scouts, Jimmy Webber accompanying him and reading his poems "he was too delicate to work", his father was a solicitor and lived at Chandos Road, Flitwick;
- Harry Pollard retired to Wilshamstead;
- Olive Gilbert was a study companion and church organist
