Title
Letter from Walton's solicitors of King Street, Luton to Rev. F.A. Johnson of Pulloxhill Vicarage concerning a collector for the rents of the charities allotments… 'I spoke to someone you will probably think suitable. He is Mr. H. James of 23 Cardiff Road, Luton, who is in fact a private detective and was formerly a detective sergeant at New Scotland Yard. He said he would be willing to deal with the collection of the rents, provided of course the commission is sufficient to make it worth his while'.
