    [f. 249d] Morgan Aphillippe of Dunstable, made 17 Apr. pr. 27 June 1547. Burial in the churchyard of Dunstable "nigh unto my Childerne there". To mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar of parish church of Dunstable "towardes the mayntenaunce of the same" 4d.; towards the maintenance of the Sanct John the Baptist altar 8d.. To his brother John Colluppe to sing a trental for souls of testator and of all Christians 10s. sterling. To William Crofte of Dunstable his dagger. To daughter Marye Aphillippe 2 featherbeds with all things belonging to them , also testator's gown, his cloak "gardyt with velvet" and 2 geldings, which geldings are to be sold "when they are in sufficient lykeing" and the money arising to remain in hands of testator's wife until his daughter Mary should marry, and the cost of pasturing the geldings to be born by Mary. Residue of his goods, the lease of his house, the crop on the ground, to wife Jone Aphelippe, sole executrix., with supervisors Robert Amerucke and John Freman, Robert to have for his work testator's sword, and John to have testator's white doublet. Witnesses Thomas Fynche senior, sir John Colluppe priest, and William [?]Aciost.
