    [f. 244] John Corbett made 1545. No note of probate, but date 25 April written below. Burial in the churchyard of All Hallowes in Sutton. To the high altar there for tithes forgotten a bushel of barley; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the Sepulchre light 6d.; to the bells 8d.. To Richard Corbyt a calf. To Alys Hancocke a calf. To Richard Freman a bushel of barley. He wishes his cart to be used to carry 2 days gravel in summer and to lay it in the street where there is most need. To son Robert Corbyt a great coffer, a great pot, a great pan, a pair of sheets, 4 pewter dishes, a mattress, a bell candlestick, a spit, and a pair of cobirons.. To son Edward a quarter of malt, a coat, a doublet, a pair of hose, and a cap. To daughter Elene a quarter of malt. To wife Maryan all manner of implements within the house, except as aforesaid.. He leaves "ij. Beyes" [?hives of bees; ?beasts] to support a yearly obit, the rent for them to be 3s. 4d.. Residue to wife Maryan and son Robert Corbyt to be divided between them "that is to say all manner of grayn, horses, beses, oxson, bullocks, shepe, hogges, pulterie, carte and carte geres, plowght and plowght geres" and they to be his executors. Witnesses Robert Veyses, John Cooe, John Lambert priest.
