    [f. 236a] John Lawrenc' of Chiltern Grene in the parish of Luton made 18 Feb. 1546/7, pr. 2 May 1547. Burial in the churchyard of Our Lady in Luton; to the high altar there 2 bushel of wheat; to the Trinity Altar in the same church 2d.; to the church of Lincoln 2d.. To son Valentyne Lawrenc' and his heirs testator's house at Lawrens Ende with all lands and profits belonging to it. To son Thomas Lawrens and his heirs the house at Chiltren Grene with all lands and profits. To son John Lawrens 40s. in money, a horse and a red cow and an acre of wheat. To daughter Jone Day an acre of wheat and 3 roods. To daughter Amy 12s. in money. To testator's wife Alys Lawrence 3 acres of wheat, an acre of barley, and 2 beasts, also all testator's household stuff. To godson John Grene 3 bushel of wheat. To godson John Blackehed a bushel of wheat. To Thomas Wystow a bushel of wheat. To John Lawrence the younger a sheep. Remainder of his goods to be at the discretion of his executors who are his sons Volentyne Lawrens and Thomas Lawrens. Witnesses Robert Bisshoppe priest, Edward Grene, Thomas Wyscoe.
