    [f. 235d] Richard Coke of Eyton [Bray], made 23 Apr. 1547, pr. 2 May 1547. Burial in the churchyard of Eyton. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar in Eyton 12d.; to the Sepulchre light 4d.; to the torches 2 bushel of malt; to the bells 2 bushel of malt; to the high ways in Eyton between the church and More Ende 6 loads of flint stone. To every godchild 2d.; to Jone Harding a quarter of barley and 2 ewe sheep. To Richard Harding a lamb. To William Harding a lamb. To the same Richard and William Harding a quarter of barley between them. To Jelyan Marten 3 ewe sheep. To John Cooke testator's godson all the grain in the Weste Croftes and 10s. in money or moneyworth. To daughter Elene 4 quarter of barley to make her a stock withal, and a 2 year old bullock. Son Edmund to have house where testator lives with everything that belongs to it provided that he sees that testator's son John has possession of the house in the Este Ende with a close and 3 acres of land called Smythes and a wick ["wycke"] and 2 acres of land called Durves, and if Edmund will not do this and fulfil the words of this last will, then son John to have the house where testator lives and all that belongs to it. Son Richard to have testator's house in the More Ende and all that belongs to it on condition that he pay to his brother Thomas £8 within the next 8 years. Son Hught to have the 3 acres which testator bought of John Pirton the elder. To son John a black horse and 3 bullocks "of the leste ij of the vj." on condition that he give his young steer between testator's sons Richard and Thomas. To sons Richard and Thomas a young steer between them. To testator's sister [?]Ampersfild a quarter of malt. To testator's brother John Cooke a quarter of barley.
