    [f. 234d] Agnes Pulter of Shelton made 2 Sep. 1546 pr. 2 May 1547. Burial within the church of Shelton. To mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the church of Shelton 10s.; to the church of Dean 12d.; to the church of Yelden 8d.; to the high altar in the church of Shelton for tithes forgotten half a quarter of barley. To the mending of the high way in Shelton 10s.. She asks for a trental to be said for the souls of Henry Negus, John Pulter, the testator, and all Christian souls, 10s.. To sir Umfray Davyson 3s. 4d.. To each of her godchildren 4d.. To her son John a basin, a ewer and 10 sheep. To son Henry her house and lands in Shelton and the lease of her close called Werrens and the hovel and the hay in it. To son William a brass pot of 2 gallons, a mattress and 2 blankets, one white the other red, and 2 pair of sheets, one flaxen and the other harden, and 2 great chargers. To daughter Tomysin testator's best featherbed, the best bolster and a red coverlet, a great old pan and 2 chargers. To daughter Katering a featherbed and a bolster, a yellow and white coverlet, a diaper board cloth, and 2 chargers, To daughter Elene a featherbed, a blue and white coverlet, a blanket, 2 pair of flaxen sheets and 2 pair of harden sheets, a chafing dish, 2 chargers, an old almery. Children Henry, William, Umfray, Tomysyn, Katearing and Elene are each to have 2 kine, and to Umfray 20s.. To daughter Elene 40s.. To son Henry all goods unbequeathed within her houses and yards in Shelton, her crop excepted, with 5 horses and 8 beasts. To son Henry also all her beasts and bullocks at Broughton excepting 4 heifers. To William Negus the son of John Negus a yearling calf. To Margery Dellingham, testator's daughter's daughter, a yearling calf. To Joanne Negus the daughter of Henry Negus a yearling calf. To John Bolle a yearling calf. To Agnes Canon a yearling calf. To Edeth Abbot a yearling calf. To the wife of John Negus testator's best gown, a velvet neckerchief and her best [?]ring. To Thomas Delingame's wife her second best gown, and her best beads. To daughter Katering her third best gown. To the wife of Henry Negus her best kirtle. To daughter Elene her second best kirtle and her worst pair of beads. To the wife of Thomas Rolfe her russet gown. To Em Negus an old black kirtle. A smock each to Agnes Hogsking, Jone Dalle, Jone Jondon and Edeth Abbot, and to Agnes Sylbe a kerchief. Remainder of her goods to her executors John Negus and Henry Negus, Supervisors to be Thomas Hekinges and Thomas Negus.
