    [f. 232] Richard Gedding of parish of St. Peters Marten [Bedford], made 8 July 1546, pr. 5 Feb. 1546/7. Burial in churchyard of St. Peters Marten. To high altar for tithes forgot 4d.; to the high altar a kerchief to make a Corporal cloth. Residue to Master Robert Porter parson of St. Peter's, sole executor, to see testator's child kept, but if the child should die, then all his goods are to be sold and the money used for souls of testator, his wife and child and all Christians. If testator's sister Foxe will have the child then she to be given his six sheep, and all the wool, his wife's apparel and the new kettle. Should his child live, then he leaves his goods to his brother Thomas Geding dwelling at Hawnes and to his sister Foxe. But should child die, then goods to be sold and money used for souls, as above. Witnesses Mary Caturlyn' and Roger Mollyneris' wife, Agnes Franc' and Jone Stokes.
