    [f. 226] Robert Isaac/Isaack of Clyfton, husbandman, made 10 Dec. 1546 pr. 2 May 1547. Burial in the churchyard of Clyfton. To the high altar there for tithes forgotten 4s. 4d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the bells of Clyfton church 3s. 4d.. His wife Margret Isaack to have his house in Henlow which he bought of Michaell Cowper for the term of her life, and on her death house to go to testator's son John and to his issue, and should John die without issue then house to go to son Michaell and his heirs. Wife Margreat to have the copyhold property that testator bought of Tilly in Henlow, to have to her own use until testator's son John is 16, when property to go to John and to his issue, and should he die without issue, then copyhold to go to son Michaell and his heirs. To son John 10 quarter of barley. Wife to have the two leasehold properties that testator bought in Mapersall, the one sometime Norrys and the other Richard Talers, until testator's son Michaell is 16, then both leasehold properties to go to Michaell and his heirs. Should Michaell die without heirs, then properties to revert to son John. To Michael also 10 quarters of barley. Should both sons die without heirs, then after wife's death the house testator bought of Michaell Cowper and the copyholdings and both leaseholds to be divided between testator's daughters. To his four daughters, Martha, Margret, Jone and Agnes , £6 13s. 4d. each in money or money's worth, and should any die before marriage, then the money to be at the disposition of his wife. To daughter Elzabeth half an acre of wheat. Should wife Margret remarry, then the children's legacies be handed over before the day of her marriage. To wife all goods and chattels to bring up her "hir children and myne" To every godchild a bushel of malt. Wife Margreat sole executrix, she to pay for burial and month's day.. John Audeley of Clyfton, the elder, to be overseer, to whom 13s. 4d.. "And thus Jesus have mercy upon me". Witnesses Master George Forge parson, sir Lawrence Feld curate, Thomas Warren.
