    [f. 225d] John Merywether, made 23 Mar. 1546/7, pr. 2 May 1547. Burial in the churchyard of St. Edmund in Blownham. To the high altar 2d.; to the bells 4d.; to the Sepulchre light 2d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To wife Elene his house with the land belonging to it for her lifetime, and on her death to testator's son William and to the heirs of his body. Should William die without heirs, then property to go to son Thomas and his heirs, "and so one of my Childern' to be others eyres". To each of his daughters 2 quarters of barley. To son Thomas 2 quarters of barley and to son Richard 2 quarters of barley.
