[f. 218d] Thomas Brother of Ampthill made 16 July pr. 20 Aug. 1546 . Burial in the church yard of St. Andrewe the Apostell in Ampthill; to the high altar in Ampthill for tithes forgot4d.. To his two sons Thomas Brother and John Brother a cow each, and his wife Mawde to have the use of the 2 kyne until the children are of 20 years of age. To son John Brother a featherbed with all things belonging to it at the age of 20 . To testator's own brother John Brother a "marbell" coat, a white pair of hose and a doublet. Residue of all his goods to wife Mawde, executrix with William Stevens of Ampthill executor. To son Thomas a yearling calf, and to William Stevens for his work 20d.. Witnesses sir John Roff parson of Milbrocke, George Nelson, Edmund Bastian, John Brother the elder.
